Job summary

Whitman College's Career and Community Engagement Center seeks a Marketing Intern to develop a social media strategy, calendar and content promoting the Center’s work. You will create content across platforms, work with staff to tell stories of career development, internships, jobs and fellowships, and support print communications.

You will learn to analyze engagement metrics, collaborate with the CCEC team, and contribute to a fast-paced, student-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, and social media trends.
• Ability to develop engaging content for outreach and events.
• Comfort with mobile photography and basic video capture.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop a social media strategy and content calendar for the CCEC.
• Create content promoting Center events and student opportunities.
• Collaborate on print communications and event promotions.
• Analyze metrics to identify trends and inform strategy.
• Represent the CCEC as an ambassador at front office and meetings.
