Jobbeschreibung

ABOUT EDUBUD

EduBud International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive educational and community experiences for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Our mission is simple: Through education, we nurture individuality and celebrate potential.

As EduBud continues to grow, we are looking for a creative and motivated individual to help us share our mission, programs, people, and impact through social media and visual content.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Social Media & Creative Content Intern will support EduBud International Inc.'s online presence by planning, creating, and publishing content across key social media platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting posts, designing visuals, assisting with campaign ideas, monitoring engagement metrics, and helping respond to comments and messages in a professional manner. The intern will collaborate with the marketing and leadership teams to align content with brand guidelines and organizational goals, while contributing ideas for new formats such as short videos, stories, and educational posts. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, and may involve occasional support for events, photoshoots, or content gathering activities. The intern is expected to stay informed about social media trends and best practices relevant to education and youth-focused audiences.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Create Instagram posts, carousels, stories, reels, and TikToks
  • Design flyers, posters, event graphics, announcements, and promotional materials
  • Edit short-form videos and develop engaging video concepts
  • Help develop creative campaigns around EduBud programs, events, and initiatives
  • Turn photos, videos, and program updates into engaging social media content
  • Help maintain a consistent visual identity and voice across EduBud’s platforms
  • Brainstorm new content ideas, trends, and ways to communicate EduBud’s mission
  • Assist with social media planning and content calendars
  • Highlight student volunteers, adult participants, community events, partnerships, and organizational milestones
  • Collaborate directly with EduBud leadership on larger creative projects
  • Help grow awareness of EduBud’s mission and reach new volunteers, families, students, and community partners
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

This opportunity may be especially well-suited for:

  • Recent college graduates looking to gain professional experience in their gap(s) year(s) before graduate or professional school
  • Undergraduate students or graduates studying Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Media, Advertising, Art, Digital Media, Film, Public Relations, or related fields
  • Individuals building a creative or professional portfolio
  • Individuals looking for meaningful nonprofit or community-based experience
  • A creative self-starter who can take an idea and turn it into finished content

You do not need to have extensive professional experience. We are more interested in your creativity, initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Helpful experience includes:

  • Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
  • Instagram and TikTok content creation
  • Graphic design and visual storytelling
  • Social media strategy and content planning

A portfolio, personal social media account, school projects, or previous creative work is welcome, but not required if you can demonstrate your creativity in other ways.

WHAT YOU'LL GAIN

This role is designed to provide real, hands-on experience, not simply administrative tasks.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Build a professional portfolio with published work
  • Gain experience managing social media for a growing nonprofit 501(c)(3)
  • Work directly with organizational leadership
  • Develop real-world graphic design and video content
  • Learn how mission-driven organizations communicate with their communities
  • Strengthen your professional experience before graduate school or your next career opportunity
  • Take ownership of creative projects and see your work used publicly
