FAO Schwarz in New York is seeking a Social Media Content Creator who will shoot and edit original photography and video for our social channels, website, and Amazon listings.

You will own content from idea to finished asset, work with the social and marketing teams, and ensure assets are tailored to each platform. This role thrives on fresh, platform-specific storytelling and fast-paced production.

Qualifications

• 2+ years creating social content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
• Hands-on skill across filming, editing, colour correction and sound design.
• Fluency with Adobe tools and willingness to use preferred platforms.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit original photography and video to support daily posting across our social channels.
• Build assets for products lacking imagery to ensure visibility across social, website and Amazon listings.
• Shape content for each platform (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, e-commerce) with appropriate formats.
• Track trends and competitor work, turning insights into content proposals for teams.
• Pitch ideas to drive engagement and rewatch/share metrics with brand consistency.
• Follow brand templates and improve workflows as needed.
• Shoot in-store at 30 Rock and Nordstrom boutique while guests shop, securing permissions.
• Collaborate with creative, social, marketing, events to cover major openings and visits.
