the job

We’re looking for an energetic Social Media Content Creator to join us in a part-time, 3-month contract-to-hire role. You’ll create, edit, and manage engaging content that grabs attention and drives engagement across paid and organic channels. You’ll report to the Director of Content Strategy + Community Engagement and collaborate closely with our fun-loving, fast-moving team. This role has the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance and team needs.

compensation & timeline

Hourly rate: $28 - $50 per hour.
Timeline: 3 months with opportunity to extend, part-time contract (32 hours/week; Mon-Fri).
Location: remote (must be based in + have the right to work in the US).

what you’ll do

• Pitch content ideas with a strong focus on reach, engagement, and storytelling. Supporting brand growth and community building across Instagram and TikTok.
• Create and post multiple pieces of high-quality, aspirational content daily (videos, stills, etc.).
• Be comfortable creating both face-forward and faceless content, confident speaking, performing, and trying new things on camera.
• Edit using mobile tools or workarounds to make magic from brand assets, UGC, and your own footage.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze performance, spot trends, and evolve the content based on learnings.
• Use brand content and guidelines to create social assets like IG stories and graphics.

must haves

• 3+ years in content creation with a proven track record.
• Strong understanding of social media nuances and brand social media.
• Confidence behind the camera and in front of it.
• Reliable setup (+ ability to travel to Brooklyn HQ), strong photo + video editing skills, and an eye for aesthetic details.
• Proficient in Canva or Figma.
• High-energy, self-directed, proactive mindset.
• Thinking in TikToks, Reels, carousels, and comments.
• Community-driven with an audience-first mindset.
• Excellent storyteller with a sharp POV, sense of humor, and understanding of audience engagement.
