About the Role

We’re looking for a highly motivated Social Media Content Creator and manager to drive TurboVets' voice and presence across leadership's personal brands and corporate channels.

This is an opportunity to own the narrative for a mission-driven company that serves U.S. veterans and to work closely with leadership to tell authentic stories that matter.

You’ll be embedded with our team, capturing real moments, building engaging content, and fueling audience growth across key social platforms. The work is fast-paced, collaborative, and creative — and your contributions will help shape how veterans and the public experience our brand.

This is a hybrid role (more onsite and active with us, than home), so regular weekly/daily in-person presence is required to document team activities and maintain a high-velocity content pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow multiple social media accounts (leadership personal brands and corporate channels)
  • Create and post high-quality content consistently across:
  • Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook
  • Capture and edit short-form video, photos, and stories — both planned and spontaneous
  • Maintain a high-velocity content pipeline across platforms
  • Follow and document daily team activities to fuel content creation
  • Drive audience growth, engagement, and brand visibility
  • Maintain consistent tone, precision, and quality across all content
  • Stay current on social media trends, tools, and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and internal team members
  • Understand and reflect brand tone for both personal and corporate audiences

Requirements

  • Based in Washington DC or Arlington VA — able to be on-site regularly
  • Proven experience managing and growing multiple social media accounts
  • Strong skills in short-form video creation, editing, and visual storytelling
  • Ability to shoot content on the fly using phone or lightweight equipment
  • Comfortable with basic video and photo editing tools (e.g. CapCut, InShot, Adobe Express, Canva, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of audience engagement and platform nuances
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and content quality

Compensation

  • $60,000 - $80,000 annual salary, depending on experience and skills.
  • Company Stock Options (Exit Event Value) - We look for long term team additions.
