Social Media Content Creator — Full-Time

Thermaland Oaks | Lincoln, CA

$30–$40/hour, depending on experience

Full-Time | Hybrid

About the Role

We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Social Media Content Creator to help grow and manage a fast-scaling home, lifestyle, homestead, and product-based brand.

This is a hands-on role combining in-person content creation with remote editing, posting, and social media management. The ideal candidate understands modern social media trends, short-form video, viral hooks, and conversion-focused content—and can move quickly from an idea to polished, ready-to-post content.

Location & Schedule

Must be local to the Lincoln / Sacramento area or nearby.

This is a hybrid position with approximately 1–2 days per week in person for content filming at our home/property in Lincoln. Remaining work can generally be completed remotely.

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule.

What You’ll Do

• Film short-form content for Instagram Reels, Facebook, and other platforms
• Edit videos using CapCut, InShot, or similar software
• Add text overlays, hooks, captions, trending formats, and audio
• Help develop high-performing hooks and viral-style content concepts
• Turn existing video content into high-quality still images and carousel content
• Create clean, aesthetic carousel slides and product-focused graphics
• Organize, batch, and maintain an efficient content pipeline
• Upload, schedule, and publish content across social platforms
• Monitor and engage with social content after posting
• Assist with Amazon Storefront linking and monetization workflows
• Help manage affiliate links and product-focused content
• Troubleshoot posting, linking, storefront, and content issues
• Stay current on social media trends, sounds, platform changes, and emerging content formats
• Help identify what’s performing well and apply those insights to future content

What We’re Looking For

Content creation and video-editing experience is required.

• Has a strong understanding of Instagram Reels and Facebook content
• Understands viral hooks, trends, pacing, and short-form storytelling
• Can turn raw footage into polished, scroll-stopping content
• Has a good eye for clean, aesthetically consistent visuals
• Is comfortable filming in a home, farm, family, and lifestyle environment
• Is organized, proactive, dependable, and able to work independently
• Can work quickly without sacrificing attention to detail
• Is comfortable managing multiple pieces of content and deadlines at once
• Has an understanding of affiliate marketing and/or Amazon Storefronts, or is willing to learn quickly
• Can troubleshoot problems rather than waiting to be told exactly what to do
• Is reliable and consistently meets deadlines

Equipment & Technical Requirements

Candidates must have:

• A high-quality smartphone or camera capable of professional-looking social content; iPhone 15 or newer, or equivalent, preferred
• A reliable computer for editing and content management
• Reliable high-speed internet
• The ability to upload and share large video files efficiently using Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar platforms
• Comfort working within organized shared folders and content-management systems

Primary filming equipment can be provided/used on-site, but candidates should be capable of independently capturing high-quality content when necessary.

Some content requires close-up hand/product modeling to maintain consistency with existing brand visuals.

Bonus Skills

Not required, but highly desirable:

• ManyChat / LinkDM experience
• Canva or other graphic-design experience
• Previous work with influencers, creators, or lifestyle brands
• Amazon Storefront or affiliate-marketing experience
• Understanding of SEO-focused captions and social engagement tactics
• Experience analyzing content performance and using those insights to improve future posts

Compensation

$30–$40 per hour, depending on experience.

Full-time, W-2 position.
