Job summary

Marina Distributing is seeking a Social Media & Content Coordinator to grow our online presence. You will manage content across platforms, develop the content calendar, and produce engaging multimedia content that supports campaigns and sales growth.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of brand social experience, strong writing and video skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Hybrid LA area work is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and content creation.
  • 1–3 years running social for a brand (beverage, food, fitness, or lifestyle a plus).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Video skills with CapCut or Premiere.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Basic graphic design skills with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret social media data.
  • Deep understanding of TikTok/IG culture and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organized and fast in a startup environment.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, curate, and schedule content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Own content calendar for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts.
  • Shoot and edit short-form video content (product, warehouse, lifestyle).
  • Engage daily with comments, DMs, and community.
  • Coordinate UGC, influencer seeding, and micro-creator partnerships.
  • Support retail with content for launches and promos.
  • Track follower growth, engagement, and content performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to align content with campaigns.
  • Monitor channels and respond to comments to foster a positive community.
  • Analyze metrics and prepare regular strategy reports.
  • Manage content calendars for timely posting.
  • Stay updated on trends and best practices.
  • Assist in creating multimedia content (graphics, videos, blogs).
  • Support other marketing activities and events.

Marina Distributing is looking for a creative and motivated Social Media & Content Coordinator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our social media presence, creating engaging content that aligns with our brand identity, and supporting marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and sales growth.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid) | Type: Full-time | Pay: $45,000-$55,000/year, depending on experience

Responsibilities
