Job summary

Filterbaby is seeking a Social Media & Community Manager in NYC to own and scale our social presence across Instagram and TikTok. You will plan content, collaborate with creators, and build an authentic community that turns followers into advocates.

As a remote-first role with in-person shoots, you will drive follower growth, manage partnerships, and stay ahead of trends. The ideal candidate is strategic, fast-moving, and passionate about wellness and clean living.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in social media, influencer, or community roles, ideally in-house at a consumer brand.
• Deep knowledge of Instagram and TikTok trends and performance.
• Comfortable shooting and appearing on camera when needed.
• Experience managing creator relationships, gifting programs, and partnerships.
• Organizationally strong with ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Passionate about wellness, skincare, or clean living.

Responsibilities

• Own Filterbaby's social presence on Instagram and TikTok, including strategy, content planning, production, posting, and engagement.
• Drive follower growth and engagement beyond maintenance to build a true audience.
• Develop a content strategy balancing brand storytelling, education, and entertainment.
• Develop and execute ongoing content series.
• Collaborate with video editors to produce authentic, scroll-stopping videos.
• Manage content calendar and timelines.
• Stay ahead of platform trends and changes, acting when needed.
• Track performance and leverage data to optimize actions.
• Manage creator gifting and briefing, and maintain partnership pipelines.
• Identify new creator and brand opportunities aligned with Filterbaby's aesthetics.
