Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging social captions.
• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and other major platforms.
• Experience taking photos or recording short-form video with a smartphone or camera.

Responsibilities

• Attend School events, lectures, programs, and other activities to capture high-quality photos and short-form video content.
• Develop engaging captions and social media posts reflecting the School’s voice, mission, and brand.
• Publish or schedule approved content across designated social media platforms.
• Independently identify and pursue content opportunities from student experiences and campus events.
• Develop original social media concepts, recurring series, and short videos to boost engagement.
• Monitor social media trends and advise on participation strategies.
• Track performance metrics like reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth.
• Prepare brief reports on content trends and opportunities to improve engagement.
• Maintain a social media content calendar and plan coverage for events.
• Organize and manage digital photo and video files.
• Ensure content follows university policies, accessibility standards, and branding guidelines.
• Coordinate with communications for reviews and approvals before publishing.
