Job summary

Apscareerportal is seeking an on-site Ministry Communications Specialist in Springfield, MO to lead the creation of Discipleship and Evangelism resources and support the Kidmin team with video and graphic design. You will manage social media accounts, plan campaigns with Marketing, and grow audiences through newsletters and blogs.

The role involves collaboration across teams, analytics tracking, and ensuring timely, engaging content across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in ministry preferred.
• Extensive children's ministry experience preferred.
• Experience in leadership, writing, and public speaking.
• Experience with various social media platforms.
• PC skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
• Customer service.
• General office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and speak into the creation and development of Discipleship and Evangelism resources.
• Provide the Kidmin team with video and graphic design.
• Manage the Kidmin social media accounts including the frequency and quality of posting content, daily interactions, and strategies for engaging followers.
• Work with Marketing and other teams to create promotional campaigns, ministry awareness etc.
• Develop and execute strategies to grow and engage the specific audiences through newsletters, blogs, etc.
• Maintain a dashboard of analytics related to social media activity, newsletters, website traffic, etc.
