Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Social Impact Specialist based in Toronto to bridge strategy and policy operations. You will coordinate national and local programs across the US and Canada, engaging with partners and managing data, budgets, and communications.

A strong cross-functional mindset and experience in social impact are essential for this hybrid in-office role. You’ll work with internal teams to execute programs, manage ride code sponsorships, and develop briefs and materials.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in project management, corporate social impact, non-profits, policy operations, or related coordination roles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to lead meetings and synthesize updates clearly.
• Experience with national and local programs and cross-border collaboration; French proficiency is a plus.
• Strong data, budgeting, and financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and project-management tools.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of Core Social Impact programs and partner engagement.
• Create strategies, playbooks, and toolkits for teams to coordinate with broader plans.
• Lead external partnerships with Canadian and international non-profits.
• Facilitate ride code budgeting, creation, tracking, and sponsorships.
• Maintain centralized tracking and coordinate with procurement, accounting, and legal.
• Manage data collection systems to gather metrics and stories from partners.
• Prepare agendas, notes, and action items; develop communications and briefs.
• Support Sustainability contracts and invoicing as needed.
