Job summary

The Blue Square Alliance Against Hate is seeking a Digital Design Associate to shape the Alliance’s visual identity across digital, print, and internal channels. The role focuses on social media and website design, with responsibilities spanning concept through execution for assets, sizzle reels, and presentations.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years in graphic design and demonstrates strong attention to detail, collaboration, and a passion for social impact.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, digital media, or visual communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, communication, advertising, or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, Figma, and other design tools.
• Strong portfolio showcasing social media graphics, web design, and print materials.
• Understanding of platform-specific design best practices (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
• Experience with basic video editing and animation tools is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
• Passion for social impact, visual storytelling, and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design assets for FCAS’s social media platforms and website.
• Create graphics, animations, and layouts for platform formats.
• Collaborate with content and community teams to translate messaging into visual storytelling.
• Support design and maintenance of the website, landing pages, and interactive elements.
• Ensure designs are accessible and responsive; partner with developers to implement updates.
• Produce print assets and adapt designs for presentations and reports.
• Stay current on design trends and tools; contribute to planning sessions.
