Job summary

Strada Education Foundation is seeking a Communications Intern to support the Strategic Communications team’s efforts to advance Strada’s core messages through earned and digital/social media, with a focus on planning and editorial support for the State Opportunity Index.

The 13-week internship offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, leadership exposure, and professional development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or accepted into a postsecondary program.
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management and problem solving.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office; Zoom and Slack a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently while accepting feedback.
• Passionate about promoting equitable opportunities in education and employment.

Responsibilities

• Support editorial planning and production for the State Opportunity Index.
• Assist with scheduling, calendars, and project management.
• Participate in team strategy meetings and editorial calendars.
• Provide editorial support across channels, including digital and social.
• Engage in internship program activities and learning opportunities.
