Job summary

TH Media in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Videographer & Editor to bring client stories to life through social-first video content. The role focuses on short-form vertical video, interviews, project stories, and monthly storytelling that helps brands grow online.

You’ll collaborate with Content & Social Media Strategists and our Video Production team to plan and execute high-volume, high-quality productions across Iowa and the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio or reel required.
• 2+ years shooting and editing experience, including social media content.
• Fluent in short-form content; understands what makes it work.
• Technically strong on set: camera, lighting, audio; strong post skills.
• Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines while staying organized.
• Willing to travel for shoots across Iowa and the Midwest.

Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and edit social-first video content for ongoing clients.
• Create content with strong visuals, hooks, storytelling, pacing, sound, and captions.
• Partner with strategists to turn strategy into production plans.
• Arrive prepared at shoots; capture needed footage and additional opportunities.
• Maintain organized project files and archives per TH Media standards.
• Own edits from rough cut to final delivery, including color and sound.
• Support larger productions with camera, lighting, and audio.
• Work with the production team to ensure work aligns with client strategy.
