Job summary

Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans is seeking a Social Event Sales Manager to lead revenue-driven event sales strategies. You will build relationships, drive new business, and execute luxury weddings and events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

The role focuses on maximizing revenue across social and wedding segments, delivering best-in-class client experiences and working closely with the MML team to ensure seamless execution.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Social Event Sales Manager to lead revenue-driven event sales strategies at Hotel Saint Vincent. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional who excels at building relationships, driving new business, and executing luxury events with precision.

You will play a key role in maximizing revenue across social, and wedding market segments while delivering best-in-class client experiences from inquiry through post-event follow up.

What You’ll Do

Revenue Growth & Account Development

• Drive revenue across social, primarily wedding, market segments
• Proactively source new business while strengthening existing client relationships
• Execute quarterly and annual sales action plans aligned with revenue goals
• Maintain expert knowledge of the luxury hospitality market and competitive landscape
• Identify and prioritize bookings that optimize both event and room revenue
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
• Conduct venue tours, client meetings, and sales calls; represent the property at trade shows and networking events
• Maintain consistent outbound prospecting and in-person engagement targets
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Hotel Saint Vincent and MML
• Lead client consultations, identifying needs and translating them into exceptional event experiences
• Participate in pre-event planning meetings, and site visits
• Be present on-site for key event moments to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction

Account Management & Reporting

• Manage full event lifecycle: from inquiry to contract to BEO detailing to post-event follow-up, including guest room blocks
• Analyze monthly production and pace reports to drive performance
• Utilize CRM platforms (TripleSeat) to track activity, measure ROI, and maintain accurate client records
• Develop post-event recaps
• Coordinate VIP arrivals, special requests, and personalized client experiences
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all guest and client information

Operational Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned events and groups
• Create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with food & beverage, rooms, engineering, and security teams
• Manage guest room blocks, rooming lists, and track pickup/attrition to protect revenue
• Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and reactive leads
• Generate and review sales pace and production reports

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in event sales within luxury hospitality, hotels, or lifestyle venues
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
• Strong relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset
• Deep understanding of luxury service standards and event execution
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Proficiency in CRM systems (TripleSeat preferred)
