Job summary

Crispin is seeking a Social Director to serve as the definitive brand voice across our sports and culture portfolio. You will bridge creative strategy with real-time execution, architecting a content calendar to drive brand growth and elevate flagship events.

In this high-impact role, you will lead social strategy across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, develop story-driven content, collaborate with design and communications, and monitor performance to optimize for KPIs while staying culturally

Qualifications

  • Office presence in office at least 2 days per week.
  • Proven experience in social media management for consumer brands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to audience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing or multimedia content creation is a plus.

Job description

The Social Director will be the definitive brand voice on social, turning business-of-sports insight into high-performing, culture-driving social content. You’ll bridge the gap between creative strategy and real-time execution, architecting our content calendar to drive brand growth and elevate our flagship events. This is a rare, high-impact opportunity for a sports and culture fanatic ready to build a defining global brand from the ground up.

Responsibilities
  • Social Strategy & Content Roadmap: Lead the lifecycle of our multi-platform presence, from strategy and data analysis to calendar execution across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring every piece of content balances brand equity with performance.
  • Content Development and Storytelling: Collaborate with design and communications to develop compelling visual and written content that resonates. ou will mine, curate, and reimagine our vast library of event assets to turn flagship moments into year-round brand stories.
  • Channel and Audience Growth: Strategize ways to make existing channels work harder and test out growth opportunities on newer platforms including YouTube, and beyond.
  • Partner Collaboration: Support the client team as a social media point of contact for partner deliverables, reporting, and strategic questions.
  • Live Coverage Integration: Collaborate with internal and external production partners prior to and during marquee events to establish clear shot lists, content workflows, and capture strategies optimized for real-time publishing.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, generate insights, and optimize content based on data to meet or exceed KPIs.
  • Trend Monitoring & Cultural Relevance: Track the evolving crossover of sports, entertainment, and digital media, identifying emerging tech, platform updates, and cultural moments early to keep the brand on the offensive.
  • Community Management: Actively engage with our community, key partners, high-profile speakers, and athlete networks to drive meaningful dialog and growth.
Qualifications
  • Able to work in office at least 2 days per week
  • Proven experience in community management or social media management, preferably in a consumer-facing or B2C environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and engage with diverse communities.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia content creation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of best practices for online community management, including crisis communication and conflict resolution.
  • A passion for sports storytelling and the evolving sports business landscape.
  • Available and able to travel to multiple events within the calendar year.

Base compensation range is $120,000 - $140,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
