Job summary

Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix seeks a Digital Content and Social Media Manager to craft timely content for our websites, social channels and TV, including graphics, copy and video. You will support internal and external communications, manage campaigns, and analyze performance to guide future initiatives.

Ideal candidate will have a professional background in marketing or communications, proven social media and livestreaming skills, and a deep understanding of the Catholic Church.

Qualifications

• Active practicing Catholic in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, plus demonstrated professional experience in effectively managing digital content and social media.
• Minimum of five years of related professional experience highly preferred.
• Valid AZ driver’s license and the ability to travel to other locations within the Diocese for work-related duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a robust digital media strategy to engage the faithful and support evangelization.
• Plan and manage search and paid social campaigns, including budgets.
• Manage content and resources on Parish Toolbox.
• Lead social media analytics reporting to inform future planning.
• Monitor all social platforms for engagement and feedback.
• Stay current on emerging media trends and technology.
• Support video and audio content production for Diocesan communications.
• Promote events and initiatives across parishes and affiliated organizations via campaigns.
• Manage livestreamed news and events.
