Job summary

The Diocese of Phoenix seeks a Digital Content and Social Media Manager to produce timely content for Diocese websites, social channels and television, including graphics, copy and video, and to support diocesan communications strategies.

Responsibilities include developing a robust digital media strategy, managing livestreams and paid social campaigns, analyzing analytics, coordinating with parishes, and assisting in event promotion.

Qualifications

• Active practicing Catholic in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, plus demonstrated professional experience in effectively managing digital content and social media.
• A minimum of five years of related professional experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a robust digital media strategy, including scheduling, to engage the faithful.
• Experience in planning and managing search and paid social campaigns, including strategy development and building budget recommendations.
• Manage content and resources on Parish Toolbox.
• Lead the delivery and reporting of insight-driven social media analytics to inform future planning and direction.
• Monitor all social platforms for user engagement and feedback.
• Stay current on emerging media landscape and current trends.
• Support the Communications team with production of video and audio content as needed.
• Assist Diocesan offices, parishes, schools, and affiliated organizations in the promotion of their events and initiatives, including paid and organic campaigns.
• Manage livestreamed news and/or events.
