Job summary

Preston Trail Community Church is seeking a Digital Content Coordinator to develop and execute our digital content strategy across social media and other platforms. You will lead content planning, production, and delivery in partnership with the Communications Director and ministry teams.

The role manages social channels, podcasts, livestream distribution, and digital campaigns while building volunteer teams.

• Strong understanding of social media, digital content, and audience engagement.
• Creative thinker with a strong eye for visuals and storytelling.
• Strong writing ability for digital audiences.
• Able to recruit, train, and lead volunteers.
• Experience with analytics to improve content performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Preston Trail’s digital content strategy in partnership with the Communications Director.
• Manage Preston Trail’s primary social media channels, including content planning, creation, publishing, and engagement.
• Provide oversight and direction for ministry-based social media accounts, establishing standards, aligning content with church strategy and brand, and coaching staff and volunteers.
• Maintain the digital content calendar, aligning with church priorities and ministry needs.
• Identify and create relevant, engaging written, photo, and video content for digital platforms.
• Partner with the Communications Director and Creative Team to bring Preston Trail stories and worship content to life digitally.
• Engage with individuals through Preston Trail’s digital platforms by providing spiritual encouragement and directing to resources and next steps.
• Produce and publish Preston Trail podcasts in partnership with the Production Team.
• Oversee weekend livestream distribution across social media, website, and app.
• Manage organic and paid digital campaigns, using data to improve results.
• Stay current on digital trends and opportunities.
