Job summary

Capita Financial is seeking a Social & Digital Content Coordinator to drive our social media and digital storytelling. You will manage content calendars, craft engaging posts, and ensure brand consistency across channels.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to turn complex information into clear, audience-friendly content, track performance, and optimize campaigns to grow our online presence.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content creation, communications, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts and digital content for a business or organization.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
• Experience managing a content calendar and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of social media analytics and digital performance metrics.
• Experience with social media scheduling and management platforms.
• Comfortable working with basic graphic design and content creation tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience coordinating video and short-form social content is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take ownership of assignments and work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's social media content calendar across applicable platforms.
• Draft, edit, schedule, and publish engaging social media content aligned with brand and marketing strategy.
• Develop content ideas and identify opportunities to increase engagement.
• Coordinate social content around initiatives, events, and campaigns.
• Ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and approved before publication.
• Monitor social media channels and coordinate responses or escalation.
