KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to shoot and edit both video and stills for various social media platforms, such as Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
- Create and collaborate with the team to develop social-first, on-brand, and compelling assets that fulfill marketing objectives and support brand positioning, especially in video content across organic and paid social.
- Utilize your skills and creativity to produce thoughtful, trend-forward visual results.
- Develop visual standards and codes, including art direction, tone and manner, graphics, typography, video, curated UGC, and both commissioned and organic content.
- Partner closely with the Senior Art Director, Marketing, and Business teams to develop social concepts for comprehensive customer experiences.
CREATIVE + INDEPENDENT THINKING
- Oversee, develop, and edit video marketing materials for seasonal product launches, promotions, collaborations, and partnerships across organic social, paid social, digital, and eCommerce for both domestic and international markets.
- Enhance and refine the brand's visual experience in video content while maintaining core identity across social platforms.
- Stay passionate and proficient in social media trends and ideation.
TEAMWORK + LEADERSHIP + STRATEGY
- Lead and present weekly digital marketing creative assets to cross-functional teams.
- Work with channel leads to review and execute design briefs in a timely manner.
- Use analytical data from marketing efforts to inform future projects.
- Mentor content creators by providing feedback, sharing resources, and supporting their career development.
LEARNING + STRUCTURE
- Collaborate on 360 marketing objectives, decks, and presentations, especially in video and social media.
- Create efficient workflows to enhance team productivity.
- Stay updated with current trends and share inspiration with the broader team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or similar).
- Proficiency in editing platforms and confidence in editing video content.
- Ability to thrive in a creative, fast-paced environment under tight deadlines.
- Styling experience is a plus.
- Highly organized multitasker capable of shifting between tasks.
- Foster an open environment that supports ideas and brand values.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable with feedback.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience managing projects independently and with teams.
- Knowledge of digital platforms, especially Meta and TikTok (paid and organic social).
- Proficiency in Adobe programs (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Video editing skills preferred.
- 5-8 years of relevant design experience, preferably in fashion, beauty, luxury, or advertising agencies.
Salary range: $90,000 - $105,000, based in NYC. The final salary depends on experience, skills, and internal equity. This description is not exhaustive, and responsibilities may evolve with business needs.
