Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Youth Sports Coach & Official to lead youth games and serve as a mentor for young athletes in a lively, outdoor setting. You will help create a fun, safe, and positive environment, teaching skills and sportsmanship while supporting families at multiple game sites.

This role emphasizes leadership, communication, and role-modeling for kids, with online training provided and a flexible, part-time schedule designed around school and other commitments.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and passion for working with children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous sports playing, coaching, or officiating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support youth sports games while creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
• Learn and apply i9 Sports rules and guidelines to promote safe and fair competition.
• Teach and reinforce teamwork, sportsmanship, effort, and respect.
• Provide age-appropriate instruction and encouragement during games.
• Manage game timing, scoring, and basic field/court responsibilities.
• Communicate professionally and positively with players, coaches, parents, and staff; help create an organized, welcoming experience.
