Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a weekend Soccer Instructor & Official to mentor volunteer coaches, teach age-appropriate fundamentals, and ensure safe, fun, and fair gameplay for all participants.

You will also officiate games, promote sportsmanship, and help manage field operations during weekend events for youth leagues and camps.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of soccer rules and game play.
• Previous coaching, playing, or officiating experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic, and dependable with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work independently and adapt during game-day situations.
• Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Soccer Instructor & Official plays a vital role in creating an exceptional i9 Sports experience for every player, parent, and coach.

As an Instructor, you'll mentor volunteer coaches, teach age-appropriate soccer fundamentals, and help create an encouraging environment where every child can develop skills and confidence.

As an Official, you'll do much more than enforce rules—you'll keep games fun, safe, instructional, and fair while encouraging sportsmanship and positive competition.

This is an active, hands-on position that works with players of all ages and skill levels throughout practices and game days.

Soccer Instructor Responsibilities
