Job summary

Volo Sports in San Diego invites a Soccer Host to join our community-driven leagues. This part-time role centers on representing Volo at facilities, engaging players, and delivering a fun, safe game-day experience.

You’ll work evenings and weekends, manage league operations, promote events, and support referees and field setup. If you’re outgoing, soccer-enthusiastic, and reliable, this role offers growth within a fast-growing national sports organization.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Minimum eight-week commitment with evenings 5:30pm-10:30pm or weekends 9:00am-3:30pm.
• Be Outgoing. You will be speaking to players.
• Interest in the game of Soccer.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Works well in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to multi-task and make decisions under pressure.
• Ability to lift and carry 30-50 pounds.
• Possess a positive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly.
• Proficient customer service skills.
• High School Diploma /GED Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a representative for Volo at facilities.

• Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling.
• Help distribute marketing materials.
• Encourage and maintain a quality experience throughout the league.

• Execute fundraising activities to support kid's programs.

Job Description

When you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the social sports industry. Hosts serve as representatives for Volo and its subsidiaries at facilities and bars and are the main point of contact for our players in leagues. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.

Soccer Host Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Serve as a representative for Volo at facilities
• Update league scores in our user interface
• Promote events and upcoming leagues via social media and on-field selling
• Help distribute marketing materials

Must-Haves
