Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year of research experience.
• Experience covering women's and men’s soccer and international club competitions.
• Experience supporting live sports productions or broadcast environments with tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of advanced soccer metrics, analytics, and statistical tools.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support editorial coverage across CBS Sports Golazo Network soccer properties.
• Monitor breaking news, social media, press conferences to identify storylines.
• Develop editorial packets, talent notes, and production materials with data and context.
• Write scripts, headlines, and talking points for live shows and soccer news programming.
• Collaborate with producers, talent, editors to identify and develop stories.
