Job summary

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District is seeking a part-time Athletic Coach to oversee and implement an athletic team program. The role involves helping student-athletes develop their skills and foster strong values of discipline and sportsmanship.

This position is critical in ensuring a positive athletic experience for participants. The season lasts from March 1, 2027 to June 5, 2027, with specific training requirements for new coaches.

Qualifications

• TB Test required upon job offer.
• Fingerprints/Livescan required upon job offer.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required upon job offer.
• First Time Coaches must complete in-person CPR Class.
• NIAA Concussion Training required upon job offer.
• NIAA Coaching Fundamentals required upon job offer.

Purpose Statement

The job of the Athletic Coach is done for the purpose/s of assuming full or shared responsibility for implementation of an athletic team program. To help participating student- athletes achieve a high level of skill, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship. This position reports to Site Athletic Administrator and Site Athletic Director.
