Job summary

CRE Finance Council in Southern California is seeking a skilled Multifamily Commercial Real Estate Analyst/Underwriter to analyze investments and support Sales Advisors in representing owners. The role covers evaluating market rate and affordable housing assets, underwriting processes, data management, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of underwriting experience and strong Excel skills; familiarity with AI tools is a plus.

Qualifications

2-3 years experience valuating both Market Rate and Affordable Housing Multifamily properties.
Strong mathematical and Excel skills, ability to use and further incorporate additional AI tools a plus.
Proficiency in quantitative research techniques.
Familiarity with underwriting processes from the brokerage side.
Solid financial acumen and understanding of financial concepts.

Responsibilities

Evaluate financial performance of real estate assets both Market Rate & Affordable
Collaborate with the team to assess potential real estate acquisitions and dispositions
Analyze loan processing and underwriting procedures
Utilize financial acumen to interpret and present data effectively
Collect, organize, and maintain data related to real estate investments
Generate reports and presentations on financial analysis findings
