Job summary

SoCal JCB in Colton, CA is seeking a Service Specialist to process service work orders, order and receive parts, and support the service team. This full-time role reports to the Service Manager and requires bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, submitting warranty and program claims, handling inquiries, researching parts, and maintaining accurate inventory. A high school diploma and strong customer service skills are essential.

Position Purpose

The Service Specialist is responsible for processing service department Work Orders and ordering/receiving parts. This position reports to the Service Manager.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Interact directly with customers, meet expectations, handle potential problem situations, and achieve customer satisfaction.
• Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
• Submits all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit
• Handles inbound service and parts inquiries
• Research and places parts orders from JCB and various vendors
• Handles all shop inquiries in an efficient and responsive manner.
• Maintains parts inventory.
• Research and advise technicians of parts and orders.
• Monitor and update Livelink to drive parts and service revenue.
• Ensures safety policy and practices are followed
• Maintains a clean and professional image according to JCB Standards
• Conducts business in alignment with the company's Values
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to perform multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.

Job Conditions

• Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environment.
