Job summary

Econolite is seeking a Manager, Corporate Facilities for Southern California, overseeing safety, environmental, and compliance programs across Anaheim and San Diego facilities. You will lead maintenance, audits, and ISO-9000 processes while coordinating with external agencies and internal teams to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or 10 years of experience, strong math and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Induct new employees on safety and environmental rules.
• Ensure safety adherence of operating equipment and facilities.
• Implement and surveil accident prevention programs.
• Fulfill and report on legal, regulatory, code and permitting matters for facilities.
• Coordinate ISO-9000 procedures and audits.
• Oversee compliance with EPA, AQMD, ADA, wastewater and fire dept permits.
• Plan and supervise renovations and layout changes; notify VP when permits needed.
• Direct safety and hygiene programs execution and monitoring.
• Assist investigations of accidents, thefts, damages, and safety violations.
• Establish corrective actions for safety, hygiene, quality and environmental issues.
• Coordinate external audits and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Maintain and supervise janitorial activities to keep facilities safe and clean.
• Evaluate performance of Facilities staff and participate in hiring/promotions.
• Serve on safety and disaster recovery committees.
• Manage outside vendors and renovation budgets.
• Develop preventative maintenance programs to preserve property value.
