Job summary

Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) seeks a SOC Tier 2 Analyst to support USARC under the DCOMSS program at Fort Bragg, NC. You will investigate escalated cyber events, correlate telemetry sources, maintain incident records, and recommend response actions as part of the Blue Team.

The role requires DoD framework proficiency, DoD 8140.03 qualifications, and a SECRET clearance. On-site duties include supporting missions, shifts, and coordination with Government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cyber defense/incident investigation experience with SIEM, network traffic analysis, multi-source correlation.
• DoD Cyber Workforce Framework 511, Intermediate proficiency.
• Meet DoD 8140.03 qualifications for the assigned work roles.
• Current 511 Intermediate options: CEH(P), Cloud+, FITSP-O, GCED, GDSA, GMON, GRID, GSEC, PenTest+, Security+.

Responsibilities

• Investigate escalated alerts using SIEM, EDR, NetFlow, and host data.
• Develop incident timelines, identify affected systems and indicators, assess mission impact.
• Recommend containment steps and track actions with government personnel.
• Maintain incident records and portal updates through closure with rationale.
• Review Tier 1 tickets for completeness and coach on investigation quality.
• Escalate complex intrusions to Tier 3; support shifts and exercises as assigned.
