Job summary

Apple Inc. in San Diego, CA seeks a Senior Test Engineer to develop and document test plans for new devices, and to design and debug test software and hardware for next-generation SoCs.

You will bring expertise in ATE testers, digital VLSI SoC experience, and will coordinate test activities across internal and external teams; travel is required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 10 Years of Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Programming skills for writing and debugging test programs and test related hardware development (i.e. Teradyne UFlex/J750/ip750, Advantest 93k platforms.)
• Proficiency in programming with Scripting languages (i.e., PERL) and high level languages (i.e., C/C++ or Visual Basic.)
• Deep understanding on ATE tester and test program
• Experience working on digital VLSI SoC.
• Expertise in Semiconductor Test Methodology.
• Deep understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals, Design for Test and Manufacturing Concepts.
• In depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process.
• Understanding of semiconductor product life cycle.
• Able to work with test equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
• Travel is required.
