Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a SOC Senior Associate to lead client-facing SOC 1/2/3 readiness and attestation engagements. You will broaden experience across ISO 27001/42001, NIST, HITRUST, governance, risk management, and other advisory services.

The role involves guiding engagements, ensuring quality, and building strong client relationships while collaborating across multiple projects and offshore resources. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Accounting.
• 2+ years of SOC audits or related consulting/attestation work (SOC, ISO, ITGCs, HITRUST).
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CPA, ISO 27001/42001 Lead Auditor, or HITRUST CCFSP.

Responsibilities

• Lead client walkthroughs to understand business needs and document control environments.
• Deliver SOC readiness and attestation engagements with practical recommendations.
• Manage project execution with planning, quality control, and budgets.
• Develop workpapers and contribute to attestation/report drafting.
• Build client relationships with a strong service focus.
• Collaborate across multiple clients and frameworks; balance priorities.
• Lead and mentor offshore resources and share approaches with team.
