Apple is seeking a SoC Security Architect to join the Platform Architecture group in Cupertino, CA. You will define and verify security features across HW and SW, collaborating with multi-functional teams to fortify Apple silicon.

Responsibilities include threat modeling, architecture of security solutions, and development of evaluation plans for both hardware and software. A BS in EE/CE or CS and deep knowledge of cryptography, Verilog/VHDL, and C/C++ are required.

Qualifications

• BS in EE/CE, CS or related engineering degree.
• Experience in definition of secure systems.
• Experience in threat modeling and weaknesses analysis.
• Experience with SoC architecture.
• 20 years of relevant industry experience.
• MS or PhD in EE/CE, CS or related engineering degree.
• Solid background of applied cryptography.
• Exposure to OS security.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to independently pursue new ideas and innovations.
• Good knowledge of Verilog/VHDL.
• Experience in C/C++ and interpretive language such as Perl/Python.
