Job summary

Dijital Team Pty is seeking a motivated Level 1 Security Analyst to join our Security Operations team supporting multiple client environments within a managed services setting. The role focuses on continuous security monitoring, threat detection, incident triage, and proactive security operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a SOC or security analyst role, MSP or similar environment.
• Hands-on with SIEM tools and endpoint protection platforms.
• Familiarity with basic networking, Windows/Linux, and common threats.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities with multitasking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from multiple client environments using SIEM, EPP, IDS/IPS, and MSP tools.
• Perform initial investigation and triage of potential incidents; escalate as per protocols.
• Maintain detailed incident documentation in MSP ticketing systems.
• Support incident response activities including containment and root-cause analysis.
• Communicate incident status and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
• Assist onboarding of new clients’ security monitoring and alert tuning.
• Adhere to MSP security policies and procedures; participate in 24x7 roster.
