Qualifications

  • Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS and related tools.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux and Windows infrastructures and basic network security concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC) desirable.

Job description

The Cyber Security Analyst performs real time event and incident management processes of SOC, as well as internal security incidents evaluation and response following the event management guidelines and policies of SOC.

  • Real-Time Event & Log monitoring and analysis using leading SIEM Technology
  • Security Incidents identification and 1st-level investigation
  • Escalation to Level 2 Analysts for incident response
Responsibilities

  • Ability to work on a flexible, rotational 24x7x365 schedule
  • Knowledge of security principles, standards, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, Linux and Windows infrastructures and basic network security architecture concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GSEC) are desired.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with incident response and handling.
  • Knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
  • Scripting or programming skills.
