Job summary

Apple, Inc. in Beaverton, OR seeks an experienced Power, Performance and Thermal Architect to advance its Platform Architecture Team. You will influence cross‑domain SoC PE/thermal control design for Apple devices, integrating hardware and software with a relentless focus on efficiency and performance.

You will collaborate with SoC, power delivery, OS, and platform stakeholders to drive high‑efficiency systems and to deliver innovative features under power and thermal constraints.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering or CS or equivalent engineering degree.
• Experience with computer architecture.
• Experience with power management.

Responsibilities

• Extend Apple SoC power, performance and thermal control architecture to new platforms and deployment scenarios.
• Partner with SoC and power delivery architects, OS designers, control system engineers and platform power management stakeholders to drive high-efficiency system architectures.
• Develop and specify new hardware and software features to extract maximum capabilities under power, performance and thermal constraints.
