Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking an engineer to advance power-optimized designs for next-generation camera systems and processors.

You will prototype on-target power features, analyze waveform data, and collaborate with HW/SW teams through design phases to production. Responsibilities include developing power-optimized multimedia HW and SOC architectures, modeling power projections, and validating targets across concepts to implementation.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Electrical Systems Engineering and Digital Logic Design
• Knowledge of HW micro-architecture of digital systems with ASIC flow understanding
• Experience with power modeling, verification and simulation tools
• Experience with camera systems and architecture

Responsibilities

• On Target power optimization feature prototyping and waveform analysis
• Develop power optimized multimedia HW and Systems architecture for next generation SOCs
• Implement models for power projections, validation and architectural trade off analysis
• Work with HW/SW design teams to implement and validate power features and targets through design stages from concept to production
