Apple Inc. is seeking a senior SoC Physical Design Engineer, Electrical Analysis, to drive electrical analysis and verification for our SoC. You will perform gridcheck, ESD, IR, EM, noise and signal integrity work, collaborating with CAD, library, circuit tech and implementation teams throughout the chip design cycle.
You will lead EM/IR test planning, analysis support and sign‑off for tape‑out while managing schedules and cross‑functional efforts to ensure successful SoC development at Apple.
As a Physical Electrical Analysis Engineer on our SoC team, you will be driving the electrical analysis and verification of an SoC.
As a senior member of our SoC physical design team, you will be performing various electrical analyses at the block or chip level, including but not limited to: Gridcheck, ESD, Static/Dynamic IR, EM, Noise and Signal EM.
You will collaborate with the CAD/library/circuit technology/system teams for tech/flow evaluation, bring‑up, validation and qualification for SoC chip development.
You will also work with the implementation team during the entire chip design cycle to drive EMIR test planning, analysis support, and sign‑off closure for tape‑out.
You will manage schedules and support cross‑functional engineering efforts for the success of Apple’s SoC product development.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,000 and $308,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
