Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks a dependable SOC Operator to support daily site security operations. You will monitor security systems, respond to alarms, and document incidents to help keep people and property safe.

The role requires effective communication and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment. FT & PT shifts are available on the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). Experience in a SOC or related role is preferred, with familiarity in CCTV, access control, and incident

• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident systems is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and report accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, access control, and other security technologies.
• Respond to incidents per established procedures and document actions.
• Report alarms, emergencies, and events to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain daily logs and incident reports with accurate details.
• Monitor access activity and report unauthorized or suspicious actions.
• Communicate with security staff, leadership, responders, and other teams as needed.
• Follow emergency protocols, including escalation and response.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive security information.
• Perform additional duties to support site security operations.

Job description

Securitas is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to support daily security operations at our client's site. In this role, you will monitor security systems, respond to alarms and incidents, and help maintain a safe and secure environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technology, communicates effectively, and can remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.

FT & PT shift available on 2nd shift, 3pm-11pm

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, access control systems, and other security technologies.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in accordance with established procedures.
• Receive, assess, and communicate alarms, emergencies, and other security-related events to the appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document incidents, security activities, and responses in daily logs and incident reports.
• Monitor access control activity and identify and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Communicate with security officers, site leadership, emergency responders, and other departments as needed.
• Follow established protocols for emergency situations, incident escalation, and response.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information and security-related communications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support site security operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security Operations Center, command center, dispatch, or security-related role preferred.
• Familiarity with CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, or incident management systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to follow established procedures and communicate information accurately.
• Professionalism and a strong commitment to safety and security.
