Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator to monitor security, CCTV, and life safety systems around the clock. The role serves as the liaison between security departments and manages event documentation and control room operations.

The candidate must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and meet licensing or experience requirements related to security or law enforcement. Valid driver’s license and typing speed are noted job requirements.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Applications.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to multi-task and discern patterns in detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region.
• Proactively monitor CCTV and respond to alarms.
• Respond to events via regular and emergency lines; provide clear direction during emergencies.
• Serve as liaison between departments and security.
• Document routine and unusual events accurately and timely.
• Log equipment and keys controlled in the room and ensure records are complete.
