Job summary

Marksman Security Corporation is seeking a Communications Security Operator for the 3rd shift at our headquarters in Texas. The role pays $20.00 per hour and requires prior Security Operations Center experience and strong customer service skills.

The operator will monitor emails, CCTV, alarms, dispatch officers, manage calls and reports, and assist during emergencies with professionalism and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas security license or ability to obtain.
• Experience in security and customer service preferred.
• Experience with dispatching is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
• Monitor CCTV for unsafe conditions and security violations.
• Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders.
• Manage calls and alerts via internal communications systems.
• Document incidents in security reporting platforms.
• Follow SOPs and escalation protocols.
• Assist during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions).
• Operate security software and access control systems.
• Provide security support for client projects and events.
• Administer client policies for access control.
