Job summary

Thrive in Sarasota, FL is seeking a Director to lead our Security Operations Center. You’ll supervise Tier 1 and 2 analysts, drive incident response, and align processes with client objectives.

The role requires a solid security background, strong leadership, and excellent communication to guide teams and report to senior management. You will develop playbooks, monitor threats, and ensure SLAs are met while improving overall security operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a system administration role or similar with multi-platform support.
• Proven critical thinking and problem solving in security
• Experience creating playbooks and security processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily SOC operations and mentor Tier 1/2 analysts.
• Lead incident response and threat detection activities.
• Develop and implement incident response playbooks and KPIs.
• Ensure SLA compliance and process improvements across the SOC.
• Escalate and coordinate with clients and internal teams as needed.
