Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Director of Security Operations to lead enterprise security operations, threat detection, and incident response. You will manage teams responsible for detecting, investigating, containing, and responding to cybersecurity threats, while driving automation and process maturity.

The role emphasizes operational execution, cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Legal, HR, and business stakeholders, and continuous improvement to reduce risk and improve platform

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years leading Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, SOC, or Cyber Defense teams.
• Experience managing enterprise security operations in complex, hybrid cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of incident response, threat detection, and cyber defense operations.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms (Defender, Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead security operations teams for monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, and cyber defense activities.
• Establish priorities and execution plans aligned with risk reduction.
• Build scalable operating models across a global environment.
• Ensure consistent processes, documentation, and service delivery standards.
• Mentor managers, engineers, and analysts to foster accountability and improvement.
• Oversee detection and response across endpoints, identity, cloud, network, and apps.
• Act as senior escalation point for major incidents and provide executive updates.
