Job summary

Apple, Inc. seeks an SOC Design and Integration Engineer to craft microarchitecture, write specifications, and integrate IPs into next-generation SoCs.

You will debug complex logic designs and collaborate with front-end teams across Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO, while coordinating with software and system groups to deliver high-quality products. The role emphasizes multiple clock domains, AMBA Fabric architecture, and power/clock management design knowledge, with a strong emphasis on cross-team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience required.
• Hands-on chip development process experience with front-end tools and methodologies.
• Experience writing specifications and converting them to design.
• Experience with multiple clock domains and asynchronous interfaces.
• Experience with AMBA Fabric architecture (AXI, AHB, APB).
• Familiarity with CPU, IP integration and power/clock management designs desirable.
• Ability to communicate across internal groups.
• Software and operating concepts familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write microarchitecture and/or design specifications.
• Design, implement, and debug complex logic designs.
• Integrate complex IPs into the SOC.
• Support front-end integration activities like Lint, CDC, Synthesis, and ECO.
• Work with other engineers that are members of the SOC Design, SOC Design Verification, Emulation, Formal verification, STA, and Physical Design teams.
• Collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure a high-quality end product.
