Job summary

Leidos is seeking proactive Cyber Security Analysts to join a 24x7 front-line SOC defending DoD networks. You will investigate alerts, analyze logs, and triage incidents while coordinating with incident response teams and USCYBERCOM.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, self-motivation, and adaptability in a high-security environment. Required: active DoD Secret clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher, and potential CSSP-Analyst certification within 180 days.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or higher)
• CSSP-Analyst certification within 180 days of hire
• Strong networking fundamentals and packet analysis
• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years (Level I) or 4+ years (Level II) experience

Responsibilities

• Investigate and triage security alerts from endpoints, IDS/IPS, NetFlow data, and sensors
• Analyze log files, correlate data, and produce detailed findings and reports
• Monitor threat intel feeds and IOCs in SIEM platforms
• Collaborate with incident response teams and communicate incidents to customers and USCYBERCOM
