Job summary

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our 24/7/365 Security Operations Center. You will monitor, analyze threats, and respond to incidents across network and infrastructure using Splunk, firewalls, and IDS/IPS. This role requires rotating shifts to cover a 24x7x365 service.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience, SOC familiarity, and strong tool knowledge for threat detection. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity operations experience.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar environment.
• Proficiency with Splunk SIEM including queries, dashboards, and alerts.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive system and network analysis of intrusions targeting network infrastructure, applications, OS, firewalls, proxy devices, and malware detection systems using Splunk SIEM.
• Conduct in-depth network security analysis and assist with incident response, event analysis, and threat intel activities.
• Monitor security alerts through Splunk to respond and triage incidents.
• Process alerts from diverse security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAFs, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Capture and document notable events for forensic investigation and replay using saved search libraries.
