Job summary

UltraViolet Cyber seeks a Senior Security (SOC) Analyst to monitor and analyze security events 24x7 from the SIEM. You will investigate suspicious activity, work with a large rotating team, and document artifacts for investigations.

The role requires a US Secret clearance and five days onsite per week in Herndon, VA. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in SOC/NOC, strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and SIEM tools, plus experience with IDS/IPS and threats.

Qualifications

• Active US Secret Clearance required.
• 5+ years in SOC/NOC security monitoring and analysis.
• Experience with enterprise OSes and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events 24x7 from SIEM.
• Investigate suspicious or malicious activity and document artifacts.
• Maintain incident records and reports.
