Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Attack Sensing & Warning Lead to oversee Tier I monitoring, Tier II analysis, and executive reporting within a federal SOC. You will direct triage, incident reports, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timely detection and escalation across the enterprise.

You will work with Detection Engineering to optimize alerting, define KPIs, and coordinate with government stakeholders on a 0600 daily report cadence and incident response processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience with a BS or 2 years additional MS experience.
• Deep knowledge of vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, access control, policy enforcement, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead AS&W team to provide incident response aligned with DHS 4300A and IRP.
• Oversee event categorization, prioritization and reporting per SOC SOPs.
• Direct drafting of executive‑level cyber incident reports for government review.
• Collaborate with Detection Engineering to configure alerts across SOC tools.
• Develop metrics and KPIs detailing SOC status and performance.
