Tulzi Technologies, LLC is seeking a SOC Analyst in Columbia, MD, to protect enterprise networks and support incident response. The role requires TS/SCI with poly and 2+ years of SOC experience, with preferred scripting and military background.

This position emphasizes threat hunting, Splunk analysis, and cross-team collaboration. Responsibilities include developing dashboards, creating correlation alerts, and contributing to remediation efforts within the incident response team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a SOC environment.
• IAT Certification Level: Sec+, CASP, CISSP, CEH, GCIH, GCIA, Cloud+.
• Vendor Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, Splunk, Linux or related vendors.
• Python and/or Ansible scripting experience.
• Prior military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, identify, contain and eradicate cyber threats to enterprise networks.
• Develop threat analytics to detect emerging threats.
• Utilize Splunk to review alerts, close alerts, and create dashboards.
• Conduct Threat Hunting when no open alerts exist and assist with remediation.
• Create reports for senior management and perform data correlations.

Description:
Responsible to prevent, identify, contain and eradicate cyber threats to enterprise networks through monitoring, intrusion detection and protective security services. Develop threat analytics to aid in detection of emerging threats. Utilize Splunk to review and analyze alerts, close alerts. Conduct Threat Hunting when no open alerts are available. Create data correlations and alerts based on discovered activity. Research on emerging threats using open source data sets. Assist with findings, remediation, and review of events as part of the Incident Response Team. Develop dashboards, perform network analysis and review alerts within Splunk and other tools such as Bro and SNORT. Create reports of findings and remediation as needed to senior management.

2+ years of experience working in a SOC environment
