Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or within one year of graduation.
• Temple-worthy membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is required.
• Solid business presentation skills (articulates technical concepts clearly).
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with management levels.
• Technology background is highly desired.
• Security certifications are a bonus.
• IP networking fundamentals.
• Some understanding of system administration including Linux and Windows.
• Attention to detail will be important.
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Technical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Defend Church networks, analyze threats, and respond to incidents in a 24/7 ISOC environment.
• Work with enterprise security tools to investigate events and determine malicious activity, impact, and required action.
• Participate in a structured internship program with training and supervision; potential pathway to full-time roles.
• Shift-based schedule with 12-hour rotations, approximately 40 hours/week, lasting about 4 months.
